• Harriet Carter

    Attorney

Harriet’s attention to detail and her passion for service is evident when you meet her. She has an extensive background in law and finance which truly helps Lifeline as she sits on our Finance and Audit committees of the Board of Directors. Harriet is an attorney practicing in the areas of taxation and business law. She has many years serving on multiple boards throughout San Diego County including North County Health Services and Just in Time for Foster Youth which gives her a particular insight and appreciation for what Lifeline tries to achieve through its mission. Our Project LIFE program is of particular interest to her and she has served with San Diego Social Venture Partners and researched and funded programs that were addressing Human Trafficking in our County.

To round out all her education, experience, and desire to help the community, as she would put it, she inherited the "art" gene from both sides of her family and nearly every wall in her house is covered with her own paintings (mostly landscapes and large felines).  Harriet’s art even takes on a serving others approach as she belongs to a group of women who knit and crochet hats and scarves for foster youth, orphans, homeless, and others. Just in the past year she created her own designs and crocheted around 100 scarves.

We are grateful to her service to Lifeline and you can see by her background and interests we are lucky to have her on our Board of Directors. Thank you Harriet for all you do for Lifeline and the community!
